Bella Voce is delighted to share three very special videos with you this holiday season!
Though we’ll miss singing for you in person this December, we are happy to share these musical offerings along with all our best wishes for a joyous holiday season
and a Happy New Year!!
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Our newest virtual choir video of O Little Town of Bethlehem arranged by Dawn Willis for Bella Voce accompanied by the 5 octaves of the Northern Bronze Handbell Ensemble for our 2010 holiday concerts. Accompanying the singers for this fall’s virtual choir performance is our very talented Collaborative Pianist, Samantha Angstman.
The Wexford Carol
The Wexford Carol, is an Irish Christmas carol arranged by Dawn Willis from Bella Voce’s Christmas Joy CD. Bella Voce members have fond memories of performing this piece at our holiday concerts in 2007 and also at our concert in Wexford, Ireland during our first international tour.
Auld Lang Syne
This arrangement of Auld Lang Syne is from Bella Voce’s newly-released Down by the Riverside CD. The video that accompanies our recording of Mark Sirett’s arrangement of Auld Lang Syne includes photos from two of our concerts and other sights from our Scotland tour in 2018. In one of those concerts Bella Voce was joined by the wonderful Inverness Gaelic Choir (you’ll see the men of their choir in kilts!) to sing this moving song with combined Scottish and English lyrics that speak of fond memories of days past and hopeful thoughts of good times to come. There is also a photo or two from our concert in the town of Argyll for which we ‘donned’ blue and purple argyle socks!
