
Sam is a versatile pianist and innovative piano teacher based in Burlington, and the founder of Burlington Piano Lessons. Equally at home in the worlds of Classical, Jazz, Pop, Folk, Worship Music, and beyond, he specializes in solo and collaborative piano playing, working with neurodivergent piano students of all ages, and supporting adults who used to play piano in joyfully jump starting their playing again.
Sam is pianist at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington and serves as regular accompanist for choirs at the First Congregational Church UCC of Burlington, Champlain Valley Union High School, and Shelburne Community School.
Sam holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in piano performance from the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam, with a minor in jazz studies and concentrations in piano pedagogy.
